Driving Without Insurance
This charge is usually written in accident cases or as a companion to an underlying charge such as a speeding ticket.
If the driver had insurance at the time of the stop but was unable to locate the insurance card, we can typically obtain a dismissal upon payment of court costs and providing proof of insurance.
If the driver had no insurance at the time of the ticket but obtained it after the fact, we can demonstrate proof to the prosecutor and request an amendment of the charge to a lesser offense or suspended sentence.
Of course, in accident cases, proof of payment for damages will be required before we can successfully resolve the driver’s case.
